Established the alliance with a $10K donation from McDonald's CEO Don Thompson set in motion a plethora of auspicious events and programs. Played college football at Fresno St & Northern Illinois.
President
After entering the NBA straight out of high school, Johnson was selected by the Detroit Pistons in the second round of the 2005.
After four seasons in Detroit, Johnson joined the Toronto Raptors. He spent six seasons with the Raptors. He later spent two seasons with the Boston Celtics and two more with the Philadelphia 76ers.
Community Relations
A former NFL wide receiver and special teamer who played 13 seasons and went to 3 Pro Bowls (2002, 2007, 2009) He was Pro Football Writers Association All-AFC (2007,2009) and a member of the San Diego Chargers 50th Anniversary Team. Played college football at San Diego State.
Program Assistant
He was then hired full time at the University of Southern California to be the Director of Scouting with the Men’s Basketball team.
He has an outstanding ability to network extensive brands and event marketing initiatives, including innovative player promotions, special events, and public relations.
Communications Director
Monique is a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Columbus, GA. She recently graduated from the University of Miami Doctor of Physical Therapy program. An energetic service-oriented professional with experience in nonprofit formation & operations. Strengths include community program development & management.
Public Relation
Jennifer is the co-chair of the board for the American Cancer Society, Nevada and also serves on the boards for the Sunrise Children’s Foundation, Create a Change Now, Las Vegas, Las Vegas Fashion Council, Henderson Community Foundation and the Better Business Bureau Board of Southern Nevada.
Fundraising Director
Founder & CEO of RS Media, a Las Vegas based, woman-owned media network. She has an extensive background in the entertainment industry, honing her abilities in various facets of business including creative direction, brand development, community relations, strategic planning and more. As a long-standing resident of Las Vegas and a key player in the local culture, Chardai’ has developed a deep understanding of the city's dynamics, culture, and pulse. This knowledge, along with the extensive network she has cultivated, allows her to leverage her relationships with her passion for community development.
Media Liaison
Roqui is a versatile and charismatic Host/Reporter with a spirit, vision, and heart just as big as her smile. Although born and raised in LA, Las Vegas has always felt like home for Roqui and her family. Her dad, Reggie Theus, is a UNLV Men’s Basketball great. Before becoming a full-time Host/Reporter for the KLAS show “Las Vegas Now,” she was last seen on-air as the Morning Traffic Anchor and Feature Reporter for CBS San Francisco-Bay Area (KPIX)
Community Liaison
Nikeia is the director of player development, NBA G-League Ignite explained the participants are also receiving life skills training—including financial literacy education classes—as they prepare for the 2021 NBA Draft. “The baseline is taxes, pay stubs and just knowing where [their] money is and where it is going,” she said. The goal is to provide the players the information, resources and tools they need to successfully make the transition into their professional basketball careers.
